Typically, tableaux is created with lots of people posing to recreate a large scene of characters, like The Last Supper. First grade practiced tableaux with smaller groups of people, focusing on individual personalities and small interactions depicted in painting and sculpture. Each student described how they become the character in the art (what props they would need, and what they would do), and cooperated with other models and photographers to succeed in this activity.
