Art Club Creations

At Art Club, students with exceptional passion and/or abilities in the arts can plan and carry out their own projects. Members have the ultimate decision in choosing subjects and mediums, giving them an opportunity for artistic exploration beyond the typical visual arts lesson plan. The facilitator simply provides members with needed materials, and provides constructive feedback, challenging each artist to take their time, and pursue master work. They will be encouraged to research the themes that are reoccurring in their art, so that they can each write an artist statement to be shown with their work at the FOTA art show.

Grade 4- 3.1.d- Invent and Discover to Create: Use media to express and communicate ideas about an issue of personal interest. Students can generate works of art based on specific themes of personal interest.
