The California quail can lay up to 28 eggs at a time! They live by the ocean, but they don't eat fish. California quails eat berries, nuts, and seeds.


After reading about the Pathfinder Rover Probe that searches the Mars surface, so far only to find volcanos and other red rock formations.



I learned that higher frequencies of sound make molecules move quickly from right to left, and low frequencies make them move more slowly.




Researching to inspire your art making exercises the following 2020 Colorado State Academic Standards of Visual Arts:

Second Grade, Standard 2. Envision and Critique to Reflect, Grade Level Expectation: 1. Share and explain choices made and possible next steps in personal works of visual art and design. Evidence Outcome b. Recognize that artists use different forms of research to inform their practice.

Third Grade, Standard 2. Envision and Critique to Reflect, Grade Level Expectation: 2. Synthesize ideas about personal works of art and imagine possible next steps. Evidence Outcome a. Demonstrate understanding of how research inspires development of ideas.


Fourth Grade, Standard 2. Envision and Critique to Reflect, Grade Level Expectation: 2. Synthesize researched and visual information to imagine, inform and plan possible next steps in personal art making, Evidence Outcome: a. Research from multiple sources to inspire works of visual art and design.


Fifth Grade, Standard 3. Invent and Discover to CreateGrade Level Expectation: 2. Apply an understanding of art processes and studio skills to create works of art and design. Evidence Outcome: a. Utilize traditional and contemporary media to effectively communicate intended meaning.
