Sharing Your Art

Use Google Drawings to document your art, and share it with the virtual art class community:
1. Click Link to Google Drawings, or copy and paste it into your web browser: docs.google.com/drawings
2. Click on the Mountains Icon.
3- From that drop menu, click on the camera.
4- When asked to use your webcam, click "Allow."
5- Hold up your art, and click the yellow camera icon
6. Click "Insert."
7. Click the blue Share icon, on the top right of the page.
8. Type or Copy & Paste LKMATTICE@AURORAK12.ORG into the window, and click "Done."
**The internet allows us to share our art with an international community of artists around the world. Successful artists document and market their art on internet.
My students are so smart and have learned these steps quickly! Here are some drawing submissions:

Kindergarten, Standard 4. Relate and Connect to Transfer, Grade Level Expectation: 1. Recognize that artists and designers contribute and connect to their communities. Evidence Outcome a. Identify how and where artists and designers work.
First Grade, Standard 4. Relate and Connect to Transfer, Grade Level Expectation: 1. Identify how artists and designers make connections through personal stories between self, family and friends. Evidence Outcome c. Discuss how visual art and design are used to remember and document personal stories and feelings.
Second Grade, Standard 4. Relate and Connect to Transfer, Grade Level Expectation: 1. Observe and discuss how visual art and design are evident in the everyday life of communities. Evidence Outcome c. Investigate the role of art and design in our communities and world.
Fourth Grade, Standard 3. Invent and Discover to Create, Grade Level Expectation: 2. Utilize media in traditional and inventive ways to communicate personal intent. Evidence Outcomes c. Prepare works of visual art and design for presentation.
Fifth Grade, Standard 3. Invent and Discover to Create, Grade Level Expectation:1. Plan works of visual art and design where intended meaning is communicated to viewers. Evidence Outcome a. Contribute to the community of makers in a shared art space.
