Symbolizing Opposites

4 Grade students work with a partner to define assigned words with prefixes and suffixes using a dictionary. They use Venn diagrams to write how their words and similar and different. They fill out a second Venn diagram using small drawings that could symbolize the words similarities and differences. Finally, they each illustrate their assigned word, collaboratively creating a diptych.
